A distant panting might have faintly been heard during the argument had the commotion not been so loud, the girl behind them catching her breath as she finished climbing the stairway. Not that she could register what was going on at first either, her mind even farther behind. It was like bungee jumping on vacation in Umbala. Just ... without the bungee cord, a way higher diving point, and not a clue where she is or how she got here.

Her breath slowing, she manages to focus her attention forward just in time to see the girl in front of her about to skip rocks with some ultimate embodiment of evil, but hearing it speak struck her dumbfounded, right before her growing excitement spoke out, "Is that a new kind of talking homunculus!?"

The seemingly-lifeless being on top of her head, what looks like some sort of small goat kid, stirred alert and now has its attention fixated on the also-small red being. Its narrowed eyes are not necessarily welcoming or leering at the moment, but unblinking and persistent in focus.
