[ There's a moment, when they step outside, where Ritsuka has to stop and take a deep breath. Now that she's had a little bit of time to process, she can tell that she does feel better... not completely, not perfectly, and she knows her troubles will come back to haunt her, but that's not now. Not yet.
She takes a deep breath of fresh air and thinks: this could be worse. Things could be a lot worse. Her shoulders relax. In the end, no matter how helpful that ceremony was, she likes being outside like this better--where it's lighter, and the air is clear, and maybe most importantly, there are people around them. All these little signs of life mean a lot. There are people here who are alive. Kadoc is alive. That feels pretty huge in and of itself!
Though it's not like she knows what to say to him either, to be honest. She has a hundred (a thousand!) options, and none of them really feel right... for now, after taking her moment, she starts to walk again. If this is going to get messy, it doesn't have to be right in the entryway. They can have a little more privacy than that. ]
