Hanabi looked thoughtful, trying to make sense of it. Civilians regarded chakra manipulation and jutsu as magic, so she wasn't completely unfamiliar with the concept. What she couldn't make sense of was why she was here.

"Are people being brought here on purpose? Or is something about the magic not working properly?"

The caravan didn't sound like a bad idea, per se - after all, there was safety in numbers, and if a caravan was prepared for newcomers, that meant this wasn't the first time something like this had happened. But if this helpful stranger was offering his assistance, she was going to ask as many questions as she could while she had the benefit of one on one attention.
