[ Again with the "sir..." He may be twice her age, but he's still a kid. Like when he first met Luca — the same age and he was still calling him "sir!" These good kids are too polite; Alberto knows very little about that. Clearly.

He got the information he wanted, though, without admitting he needed it. Camelot; wherever that is. And she's been here... months. Did she just move here? Or is he supposed to be way more concerned and scared than he thought at first?

He shakes his head, having trouble hiding a mildly annoyed face (which is really just, y'know, guilt, embarrassment, same difference), and leans down on one knee before her to get on better eye level. He props himself up to keep his balance with one hand, gesturing with the other. ]


Look— little girl. I didn't mean it when I called you stupid. That's just something humans say where I'm from. [ Oddly specific for a human to say, but okay... He sticks his free hand out for a handshake, keeping his balance to stay at her level. ]

Let's start over. Alberto Scorfano.
