aciddemonstrator: (Peculiar Pondering)

She knew Amy was offering her sympathies, but Alashandra's smile faded, eyes taking a deliberate blink before she could answer back, "Yeah. It's... very scary. Worse could happen, though - I didn't lose my home, yet." She focused on slipping the blunt sword in her sash.

In truth, she was very curious about Amy, but her sister taught her it was rude to stare at people like that, even if they don't look like Normans or Elves. She had been aware there was a race of catfolk named Doram away from her homeland, but that didn't seem to fit her... Well, Alashandra had the opportunity to observe (from a distance) a number of humanoids that weren't native to her world, so she had gotten used to the idea by now, at least. One would think someone so inquisitive would enjoy being in such a new place, though...

While collecting her thoughts, she decided to introduce herself in thanks. "I'm Alashandra, of Midgard. Good to meet you." She opened a pouch to reveal a small green sphere, bending down to feed the Amistr for doing a good job of staying away from her attempts at Fire Bolting. "The teachers mentioned we have many forms of magic in here." She said this while petting the goat kid briefly and looked up at Amy. "Did you figure out what you can use?" Elemental was probably not one of her own magics, if this failure was anything to go by.
