[ He frowns as he dumps water out of his hat, deciding better of putting it back on his head for now. The kirin standing on the shore doesn't even draw his attention immediately. ]

[ May as well head up the steps with everyone else. The kirin follows at a distance behind him, which he finally takes notice of. This, in turn, takes his attention away from whoever might be in front of him. Which is precisely why he collides with them and promptly reaches out to catch them (he hasn't been witness to the Cliff Beast's assistance yet). ]

Oh, pardon me! Are you alright?

[ The time he's spent in Lestari has been relatively peaceful -- he's not much for competition, really, so much of it's been spent bubble bar. Peace can never last, though, and his calm is shattered by one of the giant bats snatching a child. Ryouma isn't much for fighting, but when it comes to helping others, he's willing to make an exception. He gets to his feet, then turns to someone nearby. ]

Do you mind helping me out? If you don't mind the possibility of fight, anyway.

[ Ryouma isn't exactly the self-sacrificing type, but he is quite willing to help wherever he can. He's not interested in capturing the undead nor a tattoo; assisting those who chose the latter is definitely more his speed. He gives a little nod to someone with one and a little wave to get their attention. ]
