Ohhh Hijikata has death magic! Rinea actually needs help from a death mage to test out her spirit/zombie warding potion that Somnus requested of her.. Since he's so very obviously a knight, could she maybe ask for his help in luring some undead targets?? 😂 If Hijikata gets in over his head with the ghost patrols, maybe the potion he gets in return could come in handy later...

Also i am itching for another Rei and Hijikata thread eventually but am still ruminating on the topic. I think Rei will initiate contact, but I haven't decided what favor exactly Rei will ask of him once they meet. Since Avalon popped off so hard Rei wants to take a more active role in stopping shit before it starts, and Hijikata is in the thick of it as a knight do-gooder, so he's a good source... maybe he'll ask if Hijikata will share any info he hears in his knight circles about potential goons that the event left behind? Still workshopping that one LOL
