Satoko Hojo | Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sotsu

1. The Caravan to Camelot

[Satoko does not know what the hell a smartphone is.

She's been willing to roll with most things so far, including this—what other choice does she have? But she is still turning the device over a few times in confusion when the message from Merlin suddenly starts playing. Now she has to take the time to process this instead, apparently.]

Wha—a roommate? Is this thing serious?

[The look she gives everyone else in the caravan is one of obvious disdain. A real teenage delinquent giving you the stinkeye moment. But, who knows. Perhaps you are similarly inclined, and can strike a mutual deal.

Or maybe you just know how a smartphone works and are willing to teach someone who came from the near-past. On a non-committal level.]

2. A Cure on Cloud Nine (part one)

Oooohohoho~! It's pretty lucky for all of you that you managed to call in the Trap Master just when you needed her! Don't worry. I can guide us through this schoolyard diversion, without fail!

[The amount of smugness radiating from this girl as she enters this heavily booby-trapped area is off-the-charts. And it is largely deserved—as far as any trap achievable by normal human means goes, her senses are uncanny. Witness as she sidesteps patches of grass that look too suspicious! Gasp in awe as she disarms trees of their ropes before they can grab hold of anyone! Heed her wisdom as she suddenly grabs you by the shoulder as you pull ahead in a reckless direction:]

Hey, dummy, back off before you fall in a pit! Honestly. To think that an artist of my caliber is working with a gaggle of amateurs! At least for this sort of mission. If I were the one directing the flow of traps, that would be another matter entirely...

3. A Cure on Cloud Nine (part two)

[...but all good things must come to an end, and all trap knowledge gained in the human world must inevitably crumble when faced with a fantastical other world. A path Satoko was sure she could stride with confidence turned out to have magical vines involved, and now she's strung up in a situation that she's usually on the other side of, dangling off of a tree branch. (Generously, the vines are holding her too tightly for the upside-down position to cause any impropriety in her wardrobe. Not that this is helping her escape attempts.)]

What—?! Ohhh, come on! This isn't how this is supposed to work! Magic is cheating! It's cheeeeating! This doesn't mean anything! Let me gooooo!

((OOC: oh right, I will overall try to avoid more than superficial spoilers for Gou/Sotsu in these threads, but feel free to opt in or out of them))
