((While I'm undecided on what type of magic he'll have (maybe Light idk?), Riku's familiar will be the adorable Komory Bat. Canon point is post Re:Mind DLC with no MoM inclusions yet.))
Arrival - Training Grounds
[Not having access to his normal abilities was frustrating to say the least. So when Riku catches wind of the training grounds that they had access to and finally gets his bearings, he soon heads out that way. If he's expected to help save the worlds again, he may as well start getting a handle on what magic this world has given him.]
So, there are different types of magic here, huh? What are they?
[Start with the basics first. He gets the inkling that magic works differently here and that everyone has a different skill set, unlike back home. Feels a bit weird if he's honest, but he's willing to work with that.]
Snow Games - Snow Chicken
[It feels weird to be so new to this place and yet, get instantly thrown into the festivities. Riku's been minding his own business and observing how things operate in this world, when someone grabs him by the arm, screams something in his ear ("Hey! This guy's pretty tall!") and seemingly throws him into the Snow Chicken ring with someone else.
He's a little disoriented, but after a quick glance around, Riku guesses that someone decided to volunteer him for the game. Against some pretty ferocious looking and giant opponents...]
Haven't played this in a long time... [More like ages. It feels like an eternity ago that he played this game with Sora and Kairi.
Kneeling down near his partner, he smirks slightly and motions to his back.] Ready to knock some yetis down?
Mirror, Mirror - Brave of Soul
[Admittedly, when he heard the proclamation, Riku wasn't sure about going. He was intent on learning more about this world (especially since he can't seem to willingly leave) and this didn't seem like a bad opportunity, even though he knows he's not pure of heart. Brave of soul though... maybe he could do that? He didn't possess Sora's infinite courage, but... well, there's a reason his new Keyblade was called Braveheart, and he has been trying to channel the other boy's mindset and strength.
But he had not expected to completely freeze during the trial. It wasn't the illusion of his lost best friend that stopped him, but the words are haunting him even as he wakes up outside the cave.
"You're never going to find me..."
So here Riku is, sitting dejectedly in the snow and staring daggers at the cave entrance. He just needs to compose himself for a few minutes.]
Wildcard ((Feel free to hit me up via PM if none of these strike your fancy!))
