There were a lot of things going through Darin's head that day. From his sudden, ice cold arrival into a new world, to being handed all of this familiar tech and being told how he has to learn magic (despite already knowing he has no actual mana with which to do so) to being carted to this place.

Darin might not have intimate knowledge of every kingdom in Anmaral, but he knows he'd never heard of Camelot before. He wondered idly if he had somehow been transported to the Easter Continent, but most of those musings went out the door the second he walked into his assigned room at the inn.

A lot has transpired today and now he was in this room with all of this unfamiliar tech. With no one else.

No one else but his tools.

So when his roommate walks in, Darin is squatting over the remains of the video game console which has been meticulously taken apart, each component laid out on a sheet in front of him while he sketches and makes notes of every single thing. He peers up over the edge of his notebook.

"Hey, roommie! Sorry for the mess but I man, I've never seen anything like this before! Grab a seat!"
