Claire hadn't seen Leon initially. It'd been a hectic scramble making sure Sherry got taken up the hill and into a warm and dry caravan car, but once that was done she'd headed back down to do one last pass for other castaways. Her familiar loped along at her side, a huge black dog with coal-red eyes burning in the gloomy afternoon, tongue lolling out.
She'd just knelt down to scratch at her familiar's ears when she'd heard someone lurching out of the water. Turning at the sound of a familiar voice, Claire's face lit up in a wide smile.
"Well, well, fancy seeing you here," she says with a laugh, trotting across the sand with her familiar at her side.
"We should keep moving, yeah. You good to move, Leon?"
