[ There was absolutely at least one audience member who was as equally riveted by the story as the children, one who'd only been passing through mostly by chance (or destiny, call it what you will just don't blame the horse). There was a basket on her arm with what looked like sandwiches, judging by what could be seen poking from beneath the cloth protecting the contents.
Her hair, mostly hidden beneath a cloak to shield out the cold, similarly peeked from beneath the hood, brown, and if the bit hanging by her ankles in what looked to be the end of a tail of some sort-- very long.
More telling than any of those features was probably the look on her face though. From the second Rapunzel wandered within earshot of the bard's tale she was struck and rooted to the spot. It was as if she were a piece of metal that had suddenly happened past a magnet on the ground, stuck in place, mesmerized.
She wasn't the only adult there, but most of the others didn't linger, pausing only long enough to take a break from their work on the recovery efforts before moving along. Not so with her. Rapunzel's eyes were big and filled with excitement and wonder right up until the end, and she boldly decided to linger a little after once the children began to scatter, hoping to have a word with the storyteller who did not disappoint.
Her response came out, probably a bit in a rush, a burst of enthusiasm and warm cheer.
... Well, it would have if not for the tidbit he'd had to share. It does have the (probably) desired effect though, as Rapunzel reaches for the wallet in her satchel to fish out her phone. ]

Wow. That's... really terrible luck, actually.
[ A pause, considering, and then- ]
That didn't happen here, right?
