He's a very strong man, steeled from years of hard training and fighting, so he may just cut its head clean off - and hopefully that'll be enough. He picked up on their pesky self-healing mechanism already. Without giving the other beasts time to adjust to the new danger to them he swings the blade at the next one, then turns his momentum into yet another slash to double his chances of downing this one too.]
