Black Mask laughs again, a wheezy sound this time now he's had the wind knocked out of him. Steph racks the gun properly now and walks around to stand at Minako's side. She doesn't want to miss because she was aiming upside down.

"Ready to stop playing hero?" He asks her with a pitying tone. "Turn your back on all the Bat's precious teachings you were so ready to die for?"

She smiles grimly at him, aiming the gun at his head.

"No," she admits quietly. "I'm just pissed the hell off."

He opens his mouth to retort, and she shoots him square in the forehead.

She lowers the weapon, but for a time she just stands there looking down at the body, no real expression on her face at all.
