Kagami had been in the process of making a small plate for Byakko when he felt someone sit down right next to him. While he could have eaten the whole plate himself, he had actually had a reason for it this time. Byakko hadn’t actually directly asked but Kagami didn’t like the idea of eating in front of someone who wasn’t and so far, the white tiger hadn’t said otherwise.

It was a relief to hear the familiar voice though. He set the plate down on the other side of the bench, where Byakko sat up and began to eat as well. “I haven’t tried it yet. Apparently we’re going to start tomorrow. I’m not sure I really want to.”

Byakko gave a rumble and Kagami made a face right back.
