"Corn's always been a great friend to me!" she said cheerfully, but then like a plug was pulled, her cheer vanished. "But he told me that he was under a curse. All those years and I never knew it. I never knew he was suffering. He just listened to me and cheered me up." She looked down at her hands. "I was able to finally help him, but I’m not pure the way I used to be.
