While it may look like he is trying to remember Taichi, he's actually weighing the benefits of trying to mess with this guy vs. how annoying he could possibly be. Maybe it's the chocolates or maybe it's the fact that Sougo could easily beat Taichi up--but he'll entertain this interesting stranger a little while longer.
