Actually, it's much lighter than it looks, but these days I tend to wear this into battle instead. It's better suited for both archery and riding, you know?

It's not my colour so much as the colour of the nation I've thrown my lot in with. As a leader, I need to represent them on and off the battlefield.

Daring quests, exploring, reading and learning as much as I can about this place... I'm enjoying the peace, and keeping myself out of mischief. [Or putting himself in mischief, depending on which way you look at it.] How about you?

I just arrived a few weeks ago, so I'm still getting my bearings. Thinking about attending the local school, if they'll have me, so I can get a course on the history of this place and earth sciences. Or I suppose magic sciences, if they have a class on that. Can't say I'm familiar with being a caster, so I'd better learn quickly!

Ah. I am a little excited. Sorry if it was a bit much. Part of the reason I became an explorer was to see new places and learn about them, so a lot of this is right up my alley.

Something similar, though being planet-side is a change of pace from back home. The last place I was in was very close to this sort of arrangement, though, so I'm at least familiar with the basics. I'm just a little surprised they're not sending us to fix each individual timeline one at a time.
