[Sasarai vaguely remembers being on a horse, and then, very suddenly...he wasn't.
It's the unexpected plunge that sets his mind reeling and the sharp iciness of the water which meets him that steals the breath from his lungs.
He starts to sink almost immediately, limbs pinwheeling as he drops like a stone. Someone swims up to him through the murk, gently puts an arm around him, and guides him to the surface.
He scrambles forward into a kneeling position atop of a pillowy, gelatinous creature bobbing along in the water and glances downward in time to see the figure of a woman descend back into the depths.
This is all a lot to take in at once so he remains seated on top of the jellyfish for several minutes, watching as people scramble to the surface of this mysterious lake then hop across the jellies to the distant white shoreline.
Well...
With a sigh, he finally rises and hops forward until he reaches the shallows and has to walk the rest of the way, legs sloshing through the freezing water.
Sasarai looks out of place, even among the other newcomers. He is ornately dressed and visibly shaken but his pale gaze intently scrutinizes the crowd, searching for anyone who looks like they might know what's going on.]

[At the top of the cliffs, Sasarai allows himself to be ushered into a carriage.
He sits down and holds the provided phone in his hands, not sure what he's supposed to do with it. He holds it one way, then another, then flips it over.
When other people climb into the carriage he looks up at them with a tired grin before turning his attention back to the little card-shaped piece of technology that he hasn't managed to turn on yet.]

[People walking through the training grounds may find themselves suddenly unbalanced or knocked over by a surge of magic shaking through the earth beneath their feet. Sasarai appears not too long later, moving at a pace just below a light jog.]
