[ This is the first genuine fight he's been in since he's come here and it's definitely different; the way the healing magic works feels different from his Heat but at least he still has his speed, his skills, his techniques. He takes a blow from the giant beast, arms raised to soak the impact, and his feet slide almost ten feet back from the force of it. It doesn't give him pause, though; if his new friend with the sword is going to do her part, he has to keep the eye on him.
