A. ⦿ Soaking in Your Arrival [The sensation was familiar, and yet foreign at the same time. There was the feeling of weightlessness, limbs slicing through the landscape with no resistance. A change in pressure, mostly noticeable in the ears, like being immersed in water. Water... Eyes opened, and for most, they would only be able to make out splotches of color. They would tilt their heads upwards towards the surface, aiming for the sunlight; and they rightfully should. The oceans depths were both home and horror to her. Surrounded by the corpses of fellow soldiers, the ocean is filled with pieces of their bodies. Their deaths so coiled in her mind that should she open her mouth she could taste their fishy taste.
But not here...this place was noisy, and vibrations of other lifeforms were all around her. The sound of the waterbody was disturbed by the clamoring of others splashing around. Irritation seemed to read on her face as she surfaced, blinking a few times to adjust to life above the surface.
A slew of people seemed to be struggling with the water to various degrees. She would be poised in a position to help, but she was a military commander, not a lifeguard. On the other hand, watching someone drown would be troublesome...so for now she remained hyper aware of the surroundings; wondering when she would hear someone cry for help.] C. ⦿ The Red Spring (Training Grounds) [Someone was going to teach her about what latent abilities she possessed? The mere notion was laughable in itself. She was an accomplished commander; her speed was unrivaled. No one gave anything for free, and if they did then they were fools.] “Hmph…”
[She continued to eye the training grounds suspiciously, deducing that the intensity of these battles were very low. Everything paled in comparison to her true prey and all non-hunters seemed to have primitive strategies and mud-like speed.
Even so, her attention returned to the one before her trying to explain magic of sorts, a subject in which herself and other hunters simply had no aptitude for.] “You will find no magical affinity here, land dweller. The skills I possess are from training and Abyssal Hunter experimentation. It is weaved into my being.” A. ⦿ A Stone's Throw from Revenge [Toppling large beasts was not a foreign concept, even those that did not fall under her usual prey guidelines. Her tactical acumen was quite high, rivaling her strength. In this case, if she was unable to attack directly, and had to find another way with no previous intelligence, she would need to study her prey.
And study she did. Eyes glued to the scene of carnage before her, she took in all of the actions of the minotaur and those who attempted to fell it; learning all she could. It might seem callous of her to stand idly by, but a good leader and hunter would not hastily run into battle without first knowing their mark. The question was, would anyone call her out on her inaction?]
⦿ Wildcard [Feel free to pitch something else! Or PM me! Yes, I am still debating magic and familiar choices... That is why it's been omitted for now.]
