I do not believe that anyone ever knows the full truth of a situation. We are told what we need to know as we progress. Aside from what we are being told, I would think that consent seems to matter very little to them, that speaks more on the character of those that brought us here more than anything else.

[ So while he doesn't fully think that they are being told the full story, what else does he have to fall back on? What could possibly be the truth? ]

What I know is that when given an enemy, I will point my spear at them. That is the purpose that I serve.
