Arrival [ Coughing and struggling to pull herself up from the water, she claws her way towards the dry sands and catching her breath. She's suddenly drenched in sea water and covered in sand, so she's not in the best mood. But before she could rant, an imposing presence and rumbling of a large creature before her stops whatever frustration she had. A glowing, translucent tiger stands before her. It's strangely colored eyes stared into her own before it lets out a mighty roar. Cattleya's eyes widened as she pushes herself up instinctually, hands flying to the katars holstered at her legs. The tiger just stared her down, growling and turning to walk away as if to say "I'm your familiar, dumbass" ]
What just happened? Where- Ruby?
[ Cattleya asked herself as she looks around, shouting for her partner's name. Shoulders easing as her hands also slowly relax away from her weapons. It seems like she's not the only one arriving at the beach. She hopes her companion would explain to her what's going on, but she'll soon realize that Ruby isn't here with her. ]
Red Spring [ The mention of training grounds immediately attracted Cattleya, so once she's sufficiently relaxed, she heads to the grounds to observe the others and check what the grounds have to offer. She listened intently on the safety course and gets to practicing on her own once that's done. She was given elemental magic, so she practiced under her tiger familair's watchful glare. She found ample space to do some shadowboxing, bouncing on her feet and getting on to her stance that she's perfected over countless hours of practice. Twirling her katars from their scabbard into her grip like they're a couple of handguns, Cattleya focuses her magic onto her katar blades, extending their range before unleashing a quick flurry of kicks and punches.
She may have lost her superhuman strength and speed, but her skills remain. Precise hooks and roundhouses, fluidly combining into a chain of attacks without missing a beat. She finishes with a swipe of her katars that she extended with her elemental magic, elongating their cutting range with lightning and fire. They're quick to fade, as she still has much to learn about her magic. But it left her satisfied, evident in the beaming smile on her face and the exhale that left her lips ]
Whew... That was exhilarating! Relearning magic from the beginning doesn't seem as bad as I thought. What do you think?
[ She was talking to her tiger, but she turned around the wrong way and looked to your character instead. So her face turns red and eyes widened in surprise to see her make that mistake. Her tiger just looks at her unamused. ]
Beach Episode [ As quiet of a person she is, and lonely to not have her friends with her, Cattleya smiles at the end of the day where they all get to celebrate after working together, forming bonds that remind her of home. She stood in her swimsuit while she looks at everyone with a longing smile as she partakes in the festivities. She sees the watermelons and the bats as she takes a swig of her drink. Feeling up to the challenge, she stands up and approaches someone ]
Pardon me, but how exactly does this game work? I've never seen such an activity before so I wanted to be certain before I join in.
Wildcard [ Got any ideas that's not included here? Let me know! I'm open to plotting. ]
