the tl;cr meme

the tl;dr character relationships meme
It's exactly what it sounds like! tl;dr about your character and their current relationships with others in game, or use it as a sounding board to talk about how potential cr might go down in future.
steps:
1. leave a toplevel with your character's name
2. comment to others' toplevels with the character relationship(s) you'd like them to tl;dr about
3. reply to their response with your own characters' thoughts on the cr!
4. gush/commiserate/poke fun at/meme on all our dumb characters and their dumb interactions idk
5. feel free to use the responses to throw together a cr chart, or link one if you already have one!

So Ms. He-doesn't-know-her-name still! He can tell how withdrawn she is, probably from a tough, even tougher life than his, that she's got baggage and secrets she won't so easily open up about, but that's fine. He's willing to keep trying to befriend her. And yeah, she's operating on that 'little to no point in getting to know or making allies' along with some other factors, but he wouldn't mind being one person she can at least rely on that's not from her world.
He's also veeery curious what it is she does as an occupation given she was canvasing the city as she was, but probably another question she would avoid answering.

I don't know when or if she'll be parting with her occupation. She may only ever elude to something but never outright say it. What would Zidane think though if he ever found out? ;D

First she'll be like 'and I was raised to kill, maim, torture and terrorise the general population for money and was very good at my job' (if they're that far in CR) but then will probably say we were all raised for a reason but it didn't mean we were stuck following that reason.

Nope, fortunately not. He was adopted by treasure hunters before it got to that point.

Gosh, Colette is like pure and innocent and wholesome girl that even Zidane's like 'holy crap who's allowing her to be around him??'. Though, he's also not the worst to be around, but if he was pre-game? Whoops. BUT HE'S NOT, and even then, his casual flirting had no effect on the beach. Also, he's very very concerned about her processing 'I was raised based on a lie' the way she is, and while he gets people process issues differently, she could stand to be mad even a little at someone... who that someone is he learned recently was Mithos. Thanks Kratos.
Anyway, they'll gradually work on Colette being okay with expressing a little emotion, but after birthday party stuff.

But fffff. Zidane plz. Yeah any sort of flirting is gonna go over her head because. It's Colette. Alas for him. But they are still cute friends and I'm loving their cr so far! There's definitely issues around the whole Chosen thing and the impact on her in how she has dealt with it and all but. At least she's trying to process it and figure it out now. But yeeeeah Mithos had good intentions with regards to Martel/stopping discrimination but the way he went about it was.....mmmm yeah nah.
But yes we can def do something with them getting into that more later!

Yeah! And then they can ambush Kratos the grump!

Kratos would prob more see it coming from Zidane but not necessarily so much a duo with Colette being involved.

So, first, overall thoughts: Darin is a good man, 10/10, don't change too much my weird friend.
Expanded thoughts: Darin's been great getting to know since his arrival and so far, totally good! He's a fun guy, hard worker, but maybe too hard? It's like he's trying to make up for things that might not be his fault or be in his control, but rolling with the punches has only resulted in falling in a hole with spikes... if that makes any sense. But like with recent incidents which they didn't fully talk about (and Zidane missed out on, dammit Caster, timing!), just gotta drag him out to start again. Shit happens, but you can work towards making up for it. Shutting up and shutting out ain't the way to do it, chief.
