the tl;cr meme

the tl;dr character relationships meme
It's exactly what it sounds like! tl;dr about your character and their current relationships with others in game, or use it as a sounding board to talk about how potential cr might go down in future.
steps:
1. leave a toplevel with your character's name
2. comment to others' toplevels with the character relationship(s) you'd like them to tl;dr about
3. reply to their response with your own characters' thoughts on the cr!
4. gush/commiserate/poke fun at/meme on all our dumb characters and their dumb interactions idk
5. feel free to use the responses to throw together a cr chart, or link one if you already have one!

Kadoc is deeply fond of her; it's funny because he went into meeting her with some existing baggage too, both in the sense that Saber had warned him about her and her "terrible personality" and in the sense that, like with Rinea, there's a part of Kadoc that is overly critical of himself for getting involved with any woman that has anything in common with Anastasia at all, even if it's just "being a Caster in a HGW" haha. Because his standards for that ARE so silly, though, he's good at getting over it quickly when he realizes he's being dumb; just like how he realized Rinea has nothing in common with Ana despite kind of looking like her, he also knows very well by now that Medea has nothing in common with her either other than being a Caster (with a magically weak Master). So he got over himself pretty quickly there. And as for Saber's warning, that honestly only made him more curious. He likes Saber fine, but he feels a certain distance from her in being unable to relate to her ways and methods, and so he had a feeling right away that Caster would be more aligned with Kadoc than Saber is.
He didn't really expect how much he does feel that way, though. It was a surprise! It turns out they have a lot in common in some strange ways: being on opposite sides of the situation of a Master/Servant relationship being broken by the Servant's inevitable end, and both feeling forever tainted by (or in Caster's case, her spirit origin literally reflecting) their histories of betrayal. Kadoc legitimately thinks that if he'd ended up with the Greek Lostbelt, he might have ended up summoning Medea himself and would have had a good Master/Servant relationship with her, if a very different one than either of them had with their actual partners, lol.
At this point he's pretty willing to tell her more about his history and situation back home, which he avoids doing with people here, not really because he wants to deceive them but just because it's extremely complicated and heavy to bring up. There is a part of him that likes to use facts like that about himself, digging up shit he's done in the past, as a deliberate ploy to push people away—he recognizes that in Medea too, with all of her theatrics on the network and in battle! They're both doing that whole OOOOOH I TOLD YOU I WAS BAD NEWS thing in their lives lol. But because of that, Kadoc thinks she'll actually understand some of where he was coming from and what he did, as opposed to just masochistically wanting to tell her because he thinks he "deserves" whatever reaction she has to it. (There is maybe still a little of that going on with him too, but for the most part he knows she gets it.) And in turn it's basically impossible for her to push him away with her actions unless she were to get into really serious levels of sadism purely for the sake of pleasure, and he knows by now that that's not what's going on with her; all of her actions have a lot of pain behind them, and it's pain he understands.
I FEEL LIKE I LEFT THINGS OUT . . . I'm out of it today haha

But gosh he cares her- they care each other and it's so sweet ;_;

It was really an awkward relief for Kadoc to realize he wasn't the only one under an effect in the thread where they met, lol. The thought hadn't occurred to him yet, which he feels a little dumb about, but now that he knows, he sees Rinea less as someone he has no idea how to face and more as someone he can maybe understand? maybe? remains to be seen! She's clearly intelligent and kind and likeable, and he doesn't necessarily think she'll become fond of him because he never assumes that of anyone, but he is at least glad they sorted things out and it wasn't a disaster of embarrassment and he'd like to keep getting to know one another. The dancing was fun too :( even if he'd never up and do that normally and neither would she! They had a good time!
He is wary of his own reactions to women who remind him of Anastasia in whatever way, which Rinea does just physically, lol. So a part of him is like UGH DON'T START LIKING HER JUST BECAUSE OF THAT OR ANYTHING. FUCKIN IDIOT!!! But she is nothing like her in personality, so that aversion isn't as bad as it could be.

KADOC IS REALLY USED TO PEOPLE LIKE REI LOL . . . for better or for worse (it's for worse). He hasn't had to deal with serious bullying in a while, but he has a teammate back home, Beryl, who pulls a similar act in some ways—he swerves back and forth between pretending to be a supportive "big brother" type figure to Kadoc and being blunt and cruel and trollish. Beryl is actually a much shittier dude than Rei though even taking into account how low that bar came off in their event thread, lmao, which just goes to say something about the kind of stuff Kadoc will put up with in his life. He may not have a choice about being coworkers with Beryl, but neither does he do anything in his own defense (or anyone else's) except snipe at him and walk on eggshells trying to maintain what safety he can, so for now that's also Kadoc's approach to Rei. He has no idea as of right now what Rei is capable of, if he's just an asshole or something much worse, but like, it's fine. Kadoc can handle being the target of assholes. He can hate it and also still want to know more about Rei out of morbid curiosity and self-preservation—the devil you know is easier to handle and all! So he will not shut down future interactions or tell anyone what happened, though he will be a snipey sullen sarcastic jerk about it. Just because he can cope with it doesn't mean he doesn't hate it!
