Homura has mixed feelings on their mom/daughter dynamic, mostly positive despite their literal fight. On the one hand, she's finally experiencing something that resembles a normal family life with a parent rather than just her Crimson Squad, who act more as sisters than anything. It's helped to fill in a void in her heart she never knew existed.

On the other hand, this plus the dream pool event has messed with her head, almost reverting her to square one. She feels weaker now more than ever and hates it, what with the crying and feeling like she's letting other people down, when back then, she was more in charge of the situation. Her intense training in her own world has only helped increase these doubts, especially when her power was literally linked to her soul.

Yet she's learning that now it's hard to part from Caster, and always thinking about how she would have acted as the other her. And it's harder to judge given her own anger issues growing; thank god Caster didn't kidnap one of her own friends or this would have gone much worse. She loves Medea, but at this rate, they both need to work together to heal, and Morgan right now is helping to remind the shinobi of that.
