Kratos is weirdly chill with Yuber despite the fact that he's basically the living embodiment of chaos. He would prefer it if Yuber was mmmmaybe not so violent but hey, what can you do. He doesn't necessarily want to get to know him better in a friendly sort of way, but he does want to like gain a better understanding of Yuber in general. What makes him tick? (Is it just chaos I bet it is).

He does respect Yuber as a warrior, and doesn't hate having to work together with him. He is annoyed that Yuber talked him into letting himself get eaten by a giant pelican BUT that's on Kratos.

The war demon convincing a war angel to get eaten by a giant venomous pelican to kill a plant that was creating evil clones is possibly the dumbest thread in the history of this hobby. But on the flip side I think we broke the DWRP meme density record.

SO Kratos doesn't really know what to make of Zidane overall yet? He seems nice enough and he cares about Colette, so that's a plus in Kratos' book, but he still isn't sure that he's all that comfortable sharing stuff about himself with Zidane yet. Kratos is just awkward, don't mind him.

He does want to get to know him better because he's a friend of Colette's, though.

OH BOY COLETTE

SO Kratos' number one priority here is to make sure Colette is safe and happy because she is a good person and deserves good things. He still feels guilty as hell over literally everything, which is probably half the reason he's so protective of her. His actions have made her suffer and he feels like he has to make up for it, so he's probably going to try to play bodyguard whenever he can. The fact that she is from an earlier time is something that Kratos isn't completely sure how to approach, hence his reluctance to be honest about basically anything. HE'S GETTING BETTER, THOUGH.

Maybe one of these days he'll figure out how to not be so awkward, but today is not that day.

Colette just ????? at being a priority outside of the obvious of keeping her safe till/during her Journey. Because honestly what is this concept. But weh. Yeah, it's precious that he's still looking out for her and at least slowly starting to open up about things more as they adjust to the different points they recall back home.

Secret: Kratos is terrified of screwing something up pretty much 24/7 and is not nearly as confident about his basic human interactions as he lets on.

ANYWAY, NAOTO. Kratos doesn't know Naoto super well, but he already respects the hell out of him. He's a good listener and seems to be a quick learner, and just decided to open his own café because why the hell not, like some kind of little badass. Kratos can see that Naoto has a lot of drive to succeed, but he also maybe kind of needs to learn how to pace himself? Like kid plz chill.

In a way he sees a lot of his son in Naoto, and that may be partly influencing his desire to keep tabs on him and help him out. He'll try to keep the dad-ing to a minimum.

Kratos sees a lot of himself in Chris. Y'know like from way back before he became an immortal angel, helped fuck up the world, fucked up at being a dad and husband, and became super depressing. She still has a chance to turn out way better than he did and seems to be well on her way. He fully believes that she is a good leader, but he's aware of her age and worries about her potentially taking on more than she can handle. He's prepared to offer guidance if she comes to him for it. He sucks at being human but he's got this knight stuff down.

NGL if she starts acting differently around him now that she's aware that he had a family and fucked it all up somehow, he's more than likely just going to believe that he deserves it. He's his own worst enemy that way, it's fine.
