OH BOY ZIDANE WHAT TO SAY ABOUT THIS LITTLE TROUBLEMAKER I say but he hasn't really been all that troublesome lmfao. Well other than somehow getting him involved in things—

But no, despite being a bit noisy, Zidane's proven himself to be a good and capable kid AND WHILE HE WOULDN'T SAY IT OUT LOUD a decent "f r i e n d," if he can call someone almost half his age a "friend" lmao (yes he can). It's a mix of having to look after the younger guy and also believing in him enough to be treated as an equal—although the latter is mostly relevant in combat. And as proven, if something were to happen to him, Eustace would do what he could to help. I wouldn't say Zidane is officially part of his "pack" yet, per se, but it probably wouldn't be too much longer. He's pretty close.

Zidane at least gets a lot of bonus points for somehow managing to not get on his nerves that much despite that outgoing personality lmfao. On that point Zidane has done very well~ until a certain post happens and everything is ruined—

It's mostly first impressions, but Bennett is on the neutral positive side! With...just...an occasional negative slant when we consider how reckless and jumping the gun he can kind of be. But only a little—Eustace is used to those kinds of people and having to look after them lol. And he's still young so...room to grow maybe. Bennett otherwise seems like a good, decent kid and I think they would be able to get along well! Well if Zidane managed SURELY BENNETT COULD— I get the feeling Eustace will need to babysit and drag Bennett's ass out of fire more often, though lmao. Clearly Bennett needs some mature adults in his life.

They've been through a lot together and Gran helped him get out of his lonely path of revenge only and onto the more colorful and lively path of protecting others instead. So he will do whatever he can to help him as Gran is now a big part of his new family now and ugh THAT THREAD WITH THE SIREN!LYRIA it kills my heart ;___; Eustace wanting to comfort Gran so bad but not really knowing how to lkjalkjf So yes more deep bonding, please.

Colette is just too adorable sob sob. Eustace is already soft on her because of how much she reminds him of Lyria back in his world. Sweet, soft, kind, a bit clumsy, full of life. She is just a very good girl who deserves happiness sob sob. He will definitely be there to help her out should she ever need it.

OH I should mention for her birthday he got her some books related to dogs! Like little adventure fun stories featuring them hehe.
