It's exactly what it sounds like! tl;dr about your character and their current relationships with others in game, or use it as a sounding board to talk about how potential cr might go down in future.
steps:
1. leave a toplevel with your character's name
2. comment to others' toplevels with the character relationship(s) you'd like them to tl;dr about
3. reply to their response with your own characters' thoughts on the cr!
4. gush/commiserate/poke fun at/meme on all our dumb characters and their dumb interactions idk

Aerith and Zidane are so cute together. Of course, this is pretty much because Zidane's terribly endearing.
Bouncing Aerith off of him is a lot of fun. We haven't done a lot with one another (mostly because of my unfortunate scheduling), but of what we have done, I've really enjoyed.
Zidane is full of surprises and unpredictable, which Aerith really appreciates. She never really knows what fully to expect with him and there's some undeniable excitement that comes with that.
I hope they get the opportunity to learn more about one another and become good friends. ♥♥

Ken is not some run-of-the-mill kid and his experiences, abilities, circumstances have undoubtedly shaped who he is. Aerith doesn't really know the full extent of his background, but she knows just enough to get that she can't underestimate him and appearances don't define solely who he is.
This doesn't stop her from wanting to have a more nurturing role in his life, because that's naturally how she is with most people (doubly so with kids). I think she probably sees some of herself in him too, given the things she experienced when she was a kid and how that's affected her relationships with other people (especially the lack of support she got as she was growing up).
(Personally, I hope she gets to take care of him at some point and become like an older sister figure or something akin to.)

Aerith can't read him at all, but she just has this feeling that there's something about him. She knows he's 'special' and she doesn't know how in what way.
Aside from the guessing games she loves to play with herself where he's concerned, she finds him incredibly charming. A little cold, but she seems to like cold people, but he feels 'bookish' and she likes that. He gained a lot of brownie points with her during their dragonling adventure and after that whole thing, she added 'cute' to the list of Emet traits.
She can't quite figure out why, but she likes his company and definitely wants to be super nosy to get to know him better.
