Makoto’s been such a wonderful positive influence on Naoto! She’s gone and convinced him that it’s one hundred percent okay to have friends and to get close, as well as romance— he’s gotten into his head that he can’t have any of that for a long time, so when Makoto broke that, he was like *surprised pikachu face*

But other than that they are a power couple despite both having himbo tendencies and Naoto is Aware— even if he’s just as humble as Makoto lmao. Maybe both of them can give each other confidence boosts.

Honestly, he's done a lot for her. She's a lot more centered herself (helps when you've been at this hero thing for about two years and you have a massive team), but she has a few scars of her own, and she's used to being the shield and one of the main pillars of the group, so Naoto looking out for her too and making her feel beautiful and interesting like she's always wished a guy would see her means a lot to her. And she thinks he's amazing too- seriously, it blows her away how much they have in common- and she wants to support him just as strongly.

Naoto respects him a whole hella lot and it shows in how he was actually Honest For Once. I’m proud of my boy and I appreciate Kratos for doing that to him

Naoto sees how young Ken is, and understands that need to be older, which is why he takes him as seriously as he does. He’s been there before, so he lets Ken do what he wants! Naoto doesn’t expect him to trust him off the bat, but he does hope he can at least be there for him if need be!

Naoto sees Akira as a great friend, and finds him super easy to talk to, even if he finds his puns to be 50/50. He’s really curious about his fighting style though because he just wants to Know. And yes, if he does bring up the dojo (which is his family one) there will be No Escape… he wants Akira to get better, okay!!! He also appreciates the frequent trips to the cafe— it’s like a push for him to do better!
