steps:
1. leave a toplevel with your character's name
2. comment to others' toplevels with the character relationship(s) you'd like them to tl;dr about
3. reply to their response with your own characters' thoughts on the cr!
4. gush/commiserate/poke fun at/meme on all our dumb characters and their dumb interactions idk

asriel loves chara, but that's not really a secret... thanks to his time as flowey, he's not as naive as he was before and he's fully aware that chara's plan in the past wasn't as selfless as he thought it was. at the same time, he forgives them completely. they've both done horrible things, but asriel's not aware of the extent of what chara's done. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

considering that chara's dead at home, he wants to make the most of their time together and make sure that chara isn't unhappy here if he can help it. he knows that chara's lived a pretty unhappy life, SO...

no matter what faults chara has, they're still his best friend. he's also aware that chara very likely is still pretty unhappy about how things turned out, but he doesn't regret his decision in protecting humans either.
