She also has the True Fire Rune on the back of her right hand; unless you're looking up close it looks more like a very ornate flame tattoo, but closer inspection will reveal the "ink" is more like glass embedded directly onto her skin. She doesn't tend to wear gloves unless they're her gauntlets so the True Fire Rune is usually visible when she's out and about. GENERAL STYLE: Being from a prominent noble family Chris knows her way around fancy dress, but she prefers practicality in her day to day; she definitely prefers trousers to dresses, and favours green and other earth tones. She dresses plainly since she doesn't have a great deal of use for ostentation (apart from her earrings, which originally belonged to her mother), but has high standards so she's never slovenly. She does have her suit of knight's plate, but doesn't wear it as much in Avalon due to not being able to get in or out of it easily (seriously in volume 7 of the manga it's shown she needs like two maids and her squire Louis to get the entire thing on if she wants to do it in anything that resembles a reasonable amount of time). She tends to wear her hair loose more often as well, but when she is in her armour it'll be done up in a tight braid that is then pinned up so it doesn't get in the way during a fight. OTHER FUN DETAILS: Chris tends to act formally in the presence of strangers, but loosens up more in the company of friends, and is freer with letting her emotions show. She also makes a habit of wearing her sword even in her casual wear since experience has taught her it pays to be ready for anything.
