Mukuro 'Junko' Ikusaba | Danganronpa

Character Name: Mukuro Ikusaba
Canon: Danganronpa
Info: Here be spoilers. A student at Hope's Peak Academy, a school that collects the most talented high schoolers from across the country and beyond, assigning them 'Ultimate' titles based on what they are the best-of-the-best at. Mukuro here is the Ultimate Soldier, having worked as part of an elite Mercenary group called Fenrir as a teenager - but she returned to Japan to attend Hope's Peak and help her twin sister (and Ultimate Fashionista) Junko end the world with the power of despair. Oops?

As part of her sister's plans, she was posing as her in the killing game Junko set up in their school. Only problem is, her acting is atrocious, she knows nothing about fashion and can't help but nerd out about weapons and military stuff. She's a loyal, devoted bodyguard with a basically non-existent self worth thanks to her sister's abuse. Mukuro has precisely two braincells, one devoted to Junko and one devoted to military stuff, but she tries her best.
Magics & Familiar: Animal+Blood / Hellhound

Desired CR: I'm really enjoying the CR Mukuro has at the moment and would like to carry on building on those- but I'd love for her to make some new friends too! Girl friends or other older teenagers are especially loved, and I'm always open to potential shipping.

More broadly, people she can talk about weapons and such with whilst pretending to be a fashionista (and failing), people she can talk fashion with (and failing at that too), and people she can quest with (and maybe slightly less failing) are all good fun.

Known Plans: I'm mostly playing catchup with tags after a busy June, but now Caster's shenanigans are mostly resolved I want to give Mukuro some attention. I need to get her Social Media channel up for world's worst fashion vlog. She's also planning a summer themed fashion show so everyone gets a second round of showing off their swimsuits.

TDM wise I want to get her an aquatic mount because that would be cool.

She has...feelings about the Let's Play quest because it sounds like something Junko would organise and well. She doesn't know how to feel about that (and is unlikely to do it unless she's pushed, but let's talk about it). Otherwise Knighthood quests are always a safe bet for her.

Also if anyone wants to catch up with June stuff, please let me know, I'm a little behind :')

Seriously she will give Mukuro massive, massive Junko vibes and that will be interesting to play with.

I am looking at the Let's Play quest, and yet I feel these two will preferably look for the client instead.

Yeah I can see them going to look for the client instead of actually doing it- that could be interesting.

We have so much backlog with these two (even if it's decreasing!), but if you're still up for it I'd make a prompt for them to go horse shopping and exchange their little presents! If Hijikata hears of the Let's Play quest he'd instantly suspect Okita since that's right up his alley too, but he was sent home last month... so it must be some other sadist.

Also aw, that art is so nice... just a normals group of high school friends having fun at the beach...

And yeah Mukuro's thinking it sounds like something Junko would do... but yes probably some other sadist. Hijikata is one of the few people she'd talk to about that quest, because he'd know why she'd feel so weird about it given the killing game.

Yup nothing bad could possibly happen probably, I mean they could make the boardgame spinoff another murdergame I guess.

I'll put it in my upcoming July post with the quests and TDM prompts, if that works for you! Depending on how it goes they can also talk about the quest there (and probably decide to turn a blind eye for once, simply because they've dealt with enough sadists in their lives already).

There'll be a board game?! God, I love Dangan Ronpa.

V3 had a board game bonus mode, and they're now expanding it out to a full spinoff game- I'm very excited.

I'd definitely be down for Mukuro to get to know both of my girls. They're both capable fighters and are fashionable! Cattleya would be pleasantly surprised by her fighting skills, while Eclair can help keep those skills sharp.

Friends <3 I'd like that! I'm happy just seeing where the feast threads go and working it out from there- she'll try and hide her fighting skills, but can't really turn off her combat instincts, so I'm also all for throwing them at a situation where she accidentally shows them off.

And then comes up with awful excuses about it.

That'd be nice. How we can get to doing that would be the question. Does she frequent the training grounds of the Red Spring? I can see both Eclair and Cattleya being regulars there.

She does! So definitely possible for them to meet up there.

Alright, then we can definitely do that. Do you have a preference on who to meet first? I might cave in and make a post after all.

I'm leaning toward Cattleya because Mukuro already thinks she's very elegant and refined and will be very embarrassed by Cattleya spotting her being a 'disappointing battle junkie' haha

I'm hoping to write a TL at...some point...but if you beat me to it then do let me know~
