"It wouldn't work the other way around. If you ask people to spend money on music before they have heard it they will always say no. But, give people a dinner show they weren't expecting and they will reach into their back pocket for a coin or two."

He spoke like the voice of experience but then he had seen a few dinner shows in his 6,000 year life.

"What are you worried about? Just play something with a beat. People love a good song, lute or not."
