... you saw nothing. she meant to do that. it gives her a chance to grab more snow and loosely pack it into a ball, twisting herself onto her back as she uses magic to push it (and the two copies it spontaneously produces) towards him.
she doesn't expect it to hit, not really. but if it gets him to move, it'll be good enough. perhaps the way the balls all swell as they dart through the minimal space between them will help encourage that. )
