Though it was infinitely less pleasant.

Aurora's gown was still clinging to her, even under the layers of the cloak they had given her. She had put her crown away, not really sure what to do with it here. She knew the tales of King Arthur and Camelot, though her aunts tended to tell the tales that involved more magic than anything else. She was gently stroking the head of her owl companion, he had been able to avoid the water just fine and she wasn't quite sure how he had arrived in Avalon at all as she did not have him with her when she went to the castle.

So lost in her thoughts, Aurora didn't notice the door to her carriage open. But a soft nibble from her owl made her pull her thoughts away.

She offered a smile to the new occupant.]

Hello, please feel free to join us, we won't say no to company. [Her owl moved to sit up on her shoulder.] Are you thirsty, perhaps?

⦿ The Red Spring ⦿

[Aurora was sitting outside of the inn, a bit away from it and surrounded by trees. She had never been around so many people in her entire life.

It was a bit overwhelming. She had just pricked her finger on the spindle, and the next thing she knew, she was plummeting towards a lake and getting drenched to the bone.

And now she was here.

She had found a more secluded area, her owl asking her if she was alright.]

Yes... just...

[She let out a sigh. Whenever she felt so much of... anything, be it happiness, dismay, sadness, or uncertainty, song had always been there for her.

She began to sing, there were no words, just a way for her to get out all the uneasy and uncertainty she was currently going through. Her voice echoed out and around her, filling the air.

And yes, her owl companion was quite content to join in.

When she realized she had an audience, she stood up.]

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought I was alone. I didn't mean to disturb you.
