A. Caravan [Hikaru has gone to a weird world twice now and yet he isn't used to it at all. This time, rather than a sci-fi theme, this has some weird magical video game theme. The existence of alternate worlds and universes had been enough to shock the mostly normal teenage boy in Prisma but by now, he's mostly just annoyed. Can he stick to one magical world, please? His annoyance isn't helped at all by how close everybody is while he is sorely missing anybody familiar, especially his twin. Part of himself is terrified that maybe he's here alone, all alone and that makes him sensitive.
And unfortunate for everybody else, sensitive usually means bad for anybody having to deal with the emotional Hikaru. Maybe your character bumped him with his elbow, maybe they accidentally began to play something without the earbuds, but Hikaru doesn't care for reasoning.]
Can you stop being so annoying? It's bad enough we're all here but you being irritating with no sense of grace is starting to piss me off. [His anger may or may not be justified.]
B. Hot Springs [Hikaru isn't unused to hot springs. They're extremely common in Japan but the problem is he's used to private hot springs. Not something that is shared with other people. Hikaru looks around at the spring, face twisted in disgust. Yes, public baths are common and they're definitely clean in Japan but this most definitely is not Japan. He doesn't trust it!]
Is this even hygienic? I'm not going to get warts, am I? [He says it loudly enough for your character to hear. It's not directed at anybody but it would be easy to take it personally.]
C. AOL [Back in his previous world, he'd gotten to know the place better by scrolling through the network. It's a good way of figuring out the rules without having to actually talk to somebody and open up that you also do not know the rules. There's nothing worse than not being in any type of advantage!
But he does ask a question:] okay so has anybody else played a video game just like this one? i swear there's at least a dozen games with this exact same plot line. yawn.
[Mostly, he's just curious how people will react to this question.]
D. Winter Wonderland [Usually Hikaru would be absolutely down to play in the snow if he had the right inspiration. The problem is that he doesn't and since this is not his first going-to-another-world rodeo, he knows he needs to figure out what the hell to do about money since apparently, it requires actual work to get some!
However, he's being given a basket, and he stares at it because he does not want it. He isn't in the mood to play at all and so the first character he comes in contact with, he passes the basket to them.]
Here. Not interested.
