QUESTION FOR A QUESTION MEME

We all like hearing about each other's characters! We all like talking about our own characters! With this groundbreaking new meme, now you can finally do both, for the very first time in DWRP history!

The Guidelines:

• Post a toplevel listing the characters you play! If you have any boundaries you want to set re: questions you might receive (e.g. "No NSFW questions for this character"), do that here too.
  
• Tag other people asking them questions about their characters. What kinds of questions? Up to you! Canon questions, headcanon questions, meta questions, some random thing you've wondered since that thread you had two months ago, it's all fair game.
  
• Need ideas? I was passed this excellent gallery of various questions memes, so feel free to crib from these or just use them as inspiration.
  
• Answer the questions you receive, and, once you've done that, hit the person back with a question of your own about their character(s) too!
  
• You can end it there, or continue to go back and forth asking questions until you're out.

What’s the deal with Rei’s son who he told Zagreus he looked like?

Zagreus looks like Ichiro, Rei's oldest child! They have an antagonistic relationship, as after the death of Ichiro's mother Rei abandoned his children and changed his name to sever their association. Understandably, Ichiro resents his father and wants nothing to do with him 😂 Ichiro also disagrees with the way Rei is pursuing revenge for their mother's death and is trying to go about it his own way. (what exactly happened to Mom and what Rei is actually doing about it is still unrevealed, tho...)

It's more complicated on Rei's part... Leaving his kids was done for their safety, but even though it's safer now Rei has owned his shittiness and now acts as an obstacle to overcome to spur Ichiro's growth. He has bailed Ichiro out of trouble behind the scenes, but mostly sticks to his villain persona to save both of their feelings. So Zagreus's appearance was a bit of a jolt LMAO!!

I think Rei will continue to approach Zagreus as his own person, but he's definitely got a spot of self-aware fondness for him just because of the resemblance and youthful air he's got lol. Rei can't solve anything while he's stuck here without his kids, but he can navel gaze about it while bonding with other people 😂

Question for Zagreus!!: what about Avalon/the surface world has he found the weirdest?? How about his favorite part? Least favorite? He seems the type to roll with culture shock but i still gotta know LMAO
