QUESTION FOR A QUESTION MEME

We all like hearing about each other's characters! We all like talking about our own characters! With this groundbreaking new meme, now you can finally do both, for the very first time in DWRP history!
The Guidelines:
Now get to askin'!
The Guidelines:
- Post a toplevel listing the characters you play! If you have any boundaries you want to set re: questions you might receive (e.g. "No NSFW questions for this character"), do that here too.
- Tag other people asking them questions about their characters. What kinds of questions? Up to you! Canon questions, headcanon questions, meta questions, some random thing you've wondered since that thread you had two months ago, it's all fair game.
- Need ideas? I was passed this excellent gallery of various questions memes, so feel free to crib from these or just use them as inspiration.
- Answer the questions you receive, and, once you've done that, hit the person back with a question of your own about their character(s) too!
- You can end it there, or continue to go back and forth asking questions until you're out.
Now get to askin'!

Will Gareth ever overcome their feelings over Lancelot?
Without Lancelot here to work things out with her, I don't see them evolving much beyond her just trying to move past what happened. She doesn't feel betrayed, but rather feels like what happened, still, was a moment of her own weakness, when "her voice could not reach him" etc etc. You know.
I do feel she'll get to a point where she will be able to examine Lancelot less as this immaculate figure of her admiration but more a human who had his own struggles and thus she'll be able to relate to him outside of that, but it will be difficult without having him here to actually talk it out with.
Do you think she will end up dying or doing something that could end in a tragedy here in avalon?
time will tell~
okay no but seriously she will be more likely to not take the self-sacrificial path if it can be avoided because gawain confronted her to value her own life more and she doesn't want him to cry.
How does she feel about her brother Gawain being a bit overbearing here on avalon, and how thats a bit different from how he treated her elsewhere?
Honestly, she doesn't resent it, even if it can be frustrating, and she understands his feelings. She will have to put her foot down on some things, but she knows where it's coming from. They may need to do group therapy together at some point, tho
Whats her feelings with Kadoc?
FUCKING. COMPLICATED.
Obviously her friendship with him has grown strong, and did so quickly as they both recovered from mutual traumatic situations. But as much as I feel like they both want to dismiss the almost-kiss as a moment of Gareth being in a vulnerable state and just reaching for comfort, but like.... feelings are lingering, and living together is going to make them harder to ignore.
Will more stuff happens? WHO KNOWS but hen and i are playing it cool but yeah. yeah.
Is there anyone in avalon who you would see her struggling to fight against, in terms of questioning herself as a Knight?
Not... particularly. Or rather, an ideological conflict that would interfere with that hasn't really come up. There were some rumblings when the offworlders were voting on whether or not to go to war with Celliwig instead of accepting their trials, but it wound up not amounting to much. We'll see if it comes up again, but right now she's not really in a position to be put in conflict with anyone she'd struggle ideologically with.

So overall Gareth is having an enjoyable, relaxing time with a path going forward of potentially healing through it and coming out stronger? Do you think with months to come she would end up being far more progressive in her a characterization if in ur hands as opposed nasu or fate go?
(kipposhi) What that ultimately will mean is yet to be seen, but Mona's already seen past a few of those personas he wears, in particular. She's seen shades of the "real" him. That has weight to it. Something he's not even sure she realizes.
I actually think Mona realizes it, but its hard for her to accept it? Or translate it - because its like... I think Kipposhi is one of the closet friends she has here and its her first time having a closer friendship outside of her teacher or the traveler. Honestly most simply despite how complicated her feelings are - thats really it. The investment he has on her life, and the kindness he shows her - overwhelms her. The fact he wants to conquer her, overwhelms her. The fact he is just present and kind to her, but then has this tone about him that is .. Not good? Kinda evil? Overwhelms her. he is an enigma and it overwhelms her.
Can an Avenger change without fundamentally changing what makes them an Avenger?
Is his core value as avenger going to follow him here? I know like Brynhildr is a great character to show case how who the throne of heroes creates you - you are stuck being that way. Regardless of what you want, is this going to be the same of Kipposhi here? Is he going to be susceptible to his past? to what was basically pulled out of the throne of heroes?

I AM definitely not arrogant enough to presume i could write her better than nasu is in LB6, because having another tragic death aside, i was actually really, like. affirmed seeing her behave in a way i would have written her, and to have my characterization of her backed up in not just an official source, but penned by the franchise's creator. that being said, by nature of this just being a unique scenario to that (and the fact she's the Pan Human History Gareth) means she might go in a direction that is not, like. strictly outlined by canon. Having Gawain directly confront her with needing to value her own life more has already been something she didn't really get in canon (Percival gives her a similar speech, but under really different circumstances, and not really carrying the same meaning).
So I think I'm less focused on like... being more "progressive" with her and more just seeing what this different road, one she doesn't have in canon, will provide her, and hope I can do something that's at least interesting with it.
kipposhi
"he is an enigma and it overwhelms her" MONA! i honestly feel bad for her, kipposhi is so goddamn much.
BUT to the Avenger question, Kipposhi (and all of the different Nobunagas that make up his Spirit Core) is unified with his Spirit Core by this tumultuous, formless inferno of their grudges, born from fear and reverence, the distorted history of Nobunaga that he, himself, helped cultivate. It feels too big to overcome, and if he'd even truly want to.
Honestly, you gave Byrn as an example, as someone who was able to take the "fate" forced on them by their Spirit Origin and turn it into good (both in Prototype and various storylines in FGO). I feel like, given the proper motivation, Kipposhi could do the same. He may not be able to escape the cycle of retribution, that whole "hate from love, love from hate" thing, but he could at least channel that energy into something positive.

YELLLS AT PERCIVAL.... DID NOT KNOW TRHAT WHAT HE DID IM SO UPSET NASU STOP.
sigh gareth is v good. i am excited for her in avalon..
I MEAN bryn is still stuck, she is just doing what she can to not remain at the hands of a tragedy that will always follow her. shes always destined to be self destructive, but she choses to try to be more then that most of the time - or just try to prevent it. ie her singularties. sigurd being around extremely helps. i love her to counter point the struggles all servants go through, i think people forget that servants are extremely predisposed to their history. or what they came from.
I wonder if it will be a self instilled? that will be interesting to see though
