Vivi Ornitier Final Fantasy IX Enable me, please!

Final Fantasy IX is about to be the first Final Fantasy I actually finish (because while I did/do own FFVII and VIII I. Lost my memory card forever ago along with the second disc for VIII, so lost motivation.) And well. Vivi is too cute for me to resist. He would be my third character here and fourth active in games overall so this is way tentative in if I actually think I could manage that, but. Who doesn't want an adorable bitty Black Mage with Issues? He's the prototype (or at least one of them) of the black mages that were generally created to obey and basically ordered to go around wrecking havoc in destroying cities and such. They tend to have a very limited lifespan of about a year, and Vivi as the prototype is ??? on how long he has because he's an exception there. So he's got a lot in dealing with that. And is furious about Kuja lying to the black mages saying he could help them live longer if they work for him. He's generally otherwise when not pissed at Kuja, really naïve and trusting with being so young, and he learns a Lot from ending up joining in Zidane and the gang over the course of the game and opening up with them more as he learns about the other black mages and their fate. In learning that he can trust Zidane and the others and they aren't scared of him like most everyone else is (because you know. /gestures to the other black mages destroying everything.....) I'd prob go with Elemental magic for him as an obvious choice to start for his first/main magic and maybe. Uh idk death? magic? As a second? I'm less sure on a familiar but there's the obvious FF staples I guess with chocobos or moogles or such. Or I can come up with something else generally fantasy related for a familiar. If I actually go ahead with this temptation. Canon point wise I can prob go with endgame or near to that given I've basically all but finished it atm (I am legit just waiting on my fiancé to get home in prob about an hour or so and then I will do that final battle) and I know that's more or less in where the current cast is going with. But lbr I'm also just. Pouting at the idea of an app from scratch because I haven't done that in forever in usually just apping old favourites lol. I just think Avalon is p chill and it could be nice in giving Vivi another chance. More time, I guess. idk what I am doing, honestly. I'm just tempted because he is so cute.

Hmm... How about Siphon Magic instead? It'd be like Return Magic for him in some instances.

Look, he (and Laphicet with Tales of Berseria) is the exception to me tending to prefer the protag/heroine for games. He's too cute!

Siphon was the other option aside from Death magic I did consider seemed pretty close at least to what he can do in canon, yes. :la like idk if I will go through with it or when I'd figure the app if I do in actually. Deciding on magic and familiar/being sure with him and having the time to add another but.
