It's that time again already! It's time for our current players to plot for the month ahead, get some new CR and chat together about things to come. Go ahead and copy/paste the form below. Or don't. We aren't your parents, we can only make really good suggestions. (Unless...? Nah.)

Character Name: Tifa Lockhart
Canon: Final Fantasy VII
Info: Tifa is what you could easily call the "Mom Friend". She's a kind, empathetic soul who is always wanting to help and do the right thing, but don't let that fool you, she can kick ass too! She's much more reserved than she leads on, doesn't like talking about herself, and she doesn't wear her heart on her sleeve, even if she may look it. Internally, Tifa deals with a lot of grief, low self-confidence, and harbours guilt for what Avalanche is doing, but she hides it well. She's always trying to do the Right Thing, and will try to help anyone in need, regardless of who they are or where they come from. Recently, the gang has just left their fight against Shinra—the Big Bad Power Company that's sucking the mako life energy from the Planet—behind in Midgar to pursue Sephiroth.
Magics & Familiar: Elemental & Light / Dolphin
Desired CR: I'd love to get the ball rolling on any and all kinds! Positive, negative, It's Complicated, and everything in between. More specifically, I would love for her to find some people who want to learn martial arts so that she can pass down what she knows the same way Zangan did for her. I'd also love for her to find people who have suffered through grief and loss, because she could use some kindred spirits to help her cope with hers. I also think it might be really cool for her to learn how to use another weapon too, just for fun... so if anyone wants to teach her how to swing a sword properly...

Honestly, she's very flexible and works well against just about any type of character so she's really easy to toss at people to see if something sticks so if you'd like CR with her, I can make it happen!

What I can offer in return is a patient, kind, motherly/big sis type friend who can also kick a lot of ass and doesn't take bullshit from anyone, if that's your cup of tea. A great teacher, too. Someone who is willing to bend an ear and listen and help people however she can, and help keep them on the right path.
Known Plans: Besides some specific threads with people going on, I don't have much of anything in the way of plans! Some things I'd be interested in throwing her at/plotting are:

★ Bubble bar
★ Stars in your eyes

★ I'm open to plotting out closed threads for these! Trying to keep my inbox under control for a bit and not overwhelm myself, so I'd prefer to do specific starters for people for the time being. I'll be tagging around as well, and I'm hoping to grab a couple new CR this month so if you have a log you'd like me to throw Tifa at, please feel free to toss me a link! :D

Ahh perfect! She needs more big dumb sweeties who can swing a sword in her life! 🥰 She frequents the training grounds so it would make sense for them to run into each other if he's there too! Were you planning a log at all that I could tag into? If not, I don't mind writing us something closed for them to meet. :D

Alternatively, we could also see what the event has in store this month that could be handy for introductions!

I do have an open log! There are some quest starters and a TDM prompt here, but I'm open to planning other things if none of those strike your fancy, or even waiting to see what the event will bring.

BUT IN ALL SERIOUSNESS, Zidane's gradual steps to becoming a slum lord somehow? And not even cuz it won't be the slums for long, but it's not being gentrified either.

Also, Tifa should meet Naomi somehow.

But for real, I want her to see it happen either way because this is such a fun idea. Should he ever need help with fixing things up, she'll do her best! Or she'll be there to order around other people to do their best.

I did see you mention a log for Naomi, and yes, they definitely should meet!!! Maybe I will toss Tifa there 👀

It's probably not even a title he gave himself. He'll just be Leader, he's cool with that. Slumlord doesn't even sound good.

So I was reading what you're looking for when it comes to CR. Elza's a tricky one to nab but she has definitely been through a lot of loss and grief. She also uses guns as her weapon. She wouldn't be interested in learning partial arts (maybe in future CR if they click), but if Tifa doesn't mind a closed off arrogant slight troll of an assassin to bounce off of, Elza would be your gal.

Tifa definitely wouldn't mind! She's got a ton of patience so she does pretty well bouncing off of the closed-off types, so I'd definitely be interested to see if they click! :D

Were you planning anything open this month? I am hoping the event grabs me for an open top level, but if you are looking at posting something, I can hit it up for sure!

Great! Wasn't planning on doing an open but if the event works for Elza I could either top level or tag out (which I usually do). I'll have to see which prompts seem up her alley.
