I'm working on my post right now, I should get it up at some point tonight! I was planning to make an open prompt for potential caretakers with Hijikata waiting for them at the camp, but if you'd like Mukuro to be the one who does the egg ritual with him I'll close that prompt to her - that way they can actually go wherever afterwards (since he'll likely only find out that Riou's gone after that). He won't barge in with his knowledge right away, he'll try to be delicate about it... unlike with poor Caster he cares about Mukuro's feelings, pffff.

Oh, doing the egg ritual together sounds like it could be interesting! Like "...you're sure about doing this right? It's gonna hurt like a bitch."

Then as you say, they can walk back together and deal with the fallout from that.

Also, you know, at least the caretaker magic thing will mean she can be more easily poked into revealing stuff/at least taking that stupid wig off so he can see what she actually looks like.

Perfect, it's all coming together... poor Mukuro, she thought she could trust Hijikata to not abuse his power, and then he goes and presses her to admit all kinds of deeply personal matters! He pries because he cares, promise.

Oh- and at some point when all this blows over, she's adopting a couple of guinea pigs, so she'll need to introduce him to them.

She's a good friend!! And aw, yes, let's do that! I saw her sign up for those guinea pigs... caring for animals can be part of someone's healing/rehabilitation process, so good going, Muku!
