I don't know if theres much change since the last time the meme rolled around, but teach's thoughts on clod?

IT... actually has! or at the very least it's not as "okay let's get all this negative shit she thinks out of the way first"

as much as she downplayed it at first in their initial thread here, she DOES get what could have drawn herself to the other two, especially claude. even if she didn't really experience that herself to any meaningful degree that might have swayed her. obviously she sees some of herself in them, his explanation made total sense to her, just..... she's really mad about what she knows about his endgame and that sort of colors how she sees ~His Dream~ in general even though she knows they theoretically more or less want the same thing lmao.

she's mostly past projecting cf claude onto him. that broke bad in a kind of ugly way in their mirror threads in july, and she... really, really wants the two of them to be okay going forward. she's trying to do better. we've said before that byleth meeting her vw self somehow on a tdm or fourth wall or something might go a long way to setting the more personal/existential parts of it to rest, even if there are a couple of sticking points she'd probably never fully get past, and i still think that's true. as it stands she can't quite make herself believe the way the deer talk about their byleth, and keeps assuming the worst.

also like she's never going to bring it up or act on it in a million years but she isn't unattracted. but anyway.

they probably bicker a little more but i think the dynamic they've settled into is probably pretty similar to claude and his own byleth's, which might be nice for clod
