hi roomie 🥺🥺🥺 Rinea continues to hold the deepest respect for Chris. She was definitely SURPRISED, i think, by her attachment to Hawk, who seems rough around the edges?! and surprisingly direct, sexually???!!! but rinea has come to consider it one of Chris's charms as a multifaceted person. a gap moe, if you will. LMFAO

Rinea has been around military types for most of her life, so Chris's way of life seems pretty normal to her. But this upcoming month I think she'll start noticing that Chris needs a Fucking Vacation........

for adalhard, i think at the beginning he merely tolerated Holly, but has since grown used to.. or even attached to... her. She is definitely recipient number 1 for all his war trophies DFSUSFUDKDF

While we haven't really threaded much since the last time still curious what Rinea thinks of Chris' boyfriend and her neighbor.

Hawk has never been rude in front of Rinea, per se, but he is blunt enough to make her a little nervous just because she's never quite sure what he's going to say next. It's always a surprise overhearing him talk to Chris. LMAO!!!! Still, she chalks that up to her own culture shock and not really a mar on his character, and Chris seems happy, so mostly Rinea is glad to stay out of their way when he visits.

Honestly Rinea's reaction to him is quite normal. He's still a work in progress in regards to being tamed.

I think Rinea's primary experience of Somnus is that he's.... familiar. Avalon has a huge variety of people from very different times, but the way Somnus speaks and carries himself reminds Rinea of home. So even though he's kind of closed off, it's in a way that Rinea knows how to interact with!!! She can work with this!!! LMAO

That aside, she's glad to know him as much as he will let her. For all of his solemnity he seems like a nice enough man, or at least a just one. She feels quite safe with him! Even if he requests to be met in suspicious alleyways and asks for a blood GPS 😂😂😂

Meanwhile Somnus is like King Supreme right. I wonder what he's thought of Rinea dodging her Empress title...

"Familiar" is a good word to start out with, and I can write here that Somnus does find it the same in the sense that they come from noble-blood backgrounds. While he will not admit to it, that familiarity of her behavior (the courtly politeness, the courteousness, the addressing him as 'sir') makes her easier with whom to interact than others, if only because he is accustomed to it.

From the event a few months ago, he understands that she is royal ("Empress") and also dead ("Your life is already over"). He can be curious as to that, for she appears very young to have that sort of grand title, but the nature of which he will politely not inquire further, as it's Not His Business and that she appeared absolutely stricken in that one moment where he asked how to address her. Interestingly enough, being dead is something they also have in common. He sees her as still full of life, though. Somnus on the other hand, has been dead for a very long time.

In regards to what he's requested of her: while he's already starting to have doubts of accepting her help, it is necessary that he find an alchemist-- or at least try-- to make the item worked. Putting her at risk is a step he's willing to take. Oocly, I can say that he's the asshole for not divulging more and also basically just, like, using her. Icly, he believes that keeping her at arm's length will protect her more, and that there's a greater threat with which he must stifle in silence. That being said, he does think that a young woman such as herself should be enjoying the festival and not doing some dark alleyway request with him-- hence, the want to compensate her somehow for her troubles.
