So! Where to start. She obviously thinks that Gareth is an adorable cinnamon roll. But she's also a dear friend. Someone here she can more freely talk and bond over cooking with. She might have also developed a certain amount of protectivness for her. Not that Anri doesn't think Gareth can take care of herself. More that she feels like she still needs to look past her knight persona and view herself as being more of a person. One that doesn't let her more overly romantic ideals get the better of her.

Those worries were eased a bit when she seemed to relax the whole "for propriety" notions. It made it easier to relax around her, and she hopes Gareth feels the same. She wants her to feel more comfortable with herself and feel less burdened with whatever responsibilities Gareth takes up (just don't overwork yourself missy :T).

There's also a slight bit of homesickness that Belgium feels whenever she sees Gareth around her friends and family. It makes her miss her own people, brothers and friends. But at the same time those feelings make her want to spend more time around her. Just so she can recapture those familial bonds that Gareth has here, and what she has told her about her family.

This may come to a head here shortly.

Anri means a lot to her, already, mostly because she'd helped her out with a lot of just... the stress of living she's had lately. she considers her to be as much a part of her family in this Avalon as her actual relatives, tbh.

Oh no, that's too precious! Another vomit inducing, cute, heartfelt moment is needed I think. Really she's pretty close to making Gareth an honorary Belgian. Especially after the last event, with her banged up and pretty much running a business by herself, Gareth has started to offer that bit of reprieve that she hasn't been getting from others here.
