But aside from that, he seemed like a decent young man when she spoke to him, and she cannot blame him if a lot of his behaviors are due to the worlds he's been to and the shit he's been through. Like, if he knew why she'd been made head of a bioterrorist division for surgeons, oh boy.
Hell, the collar should probably scare her off, but whatever, right?
Overall, good kid, jumpy within reason, and we'll see what happens after they get his collar off.

He's got some bad history being abducted by the black market in the same world he got his collar, where they tried to harvest his organs. Also there's a lot of really traumatic crap he's been through.
But he doesn't know how well she'd put up with that if he ever brought it up, and doesn't want to bother her, since he doesn't feel anything can be done to help.
