OH, BOY

So, Chara just sort of proved Asriel right that they were half responsible for the Bad Timeline. He's not putting the blame entirely on them at all since Frisk was the one mostly in control. He doesn't 100% know why Frisk would do something like that except for curiosities sake -- and like... he gets that for sure since he's obviously been there. It's not like any damage is done if they can't remember, right... At the same time, it's still a big deal. He does suspect that Chara very likely couldn't feel anything like he couldn't when he was Flowey.

He's also alarmed because it's like... he knows the effect that killing others can have on someone, and he's very well aware that Chara doesn't think vey highly of themselves. So, a bit selfishly, he's less concerned for the people who won't remember and more concerned for Chara. Asriel was kind of single-minded during his time as Flowey so I don't think that's... completely gone. Not that he helped much since he pretty much said that Frisk was a better friend /person than Chara canonly. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

He loves Chara more than anyone and anything and it's soul crushing for him to be separated from them again since he spent so long agonizing over their death when he was Flowey... and that codependency is just unhealthy enough to where it feels like a big part of him is just Gone. But whether or not they can get along again like before is something I have no idea about at this point in time... LMFAO Asriel's kind of fully realized that things will never be the way they were no matter how much he tried. They're both just... different people at this point, but he still just wants to try to make up for what he said.
