Rinwell Tales of Arise Enable me, please!

hiya! i'm thinking about apping this adorable little mage girl from the latest tales game!! she's from a world riddled with oppression, and a lot of her personality revolves around how she feels about her own ability to do magic, so i think it'd be neat to play her here, where she wouldn't have that piece of her... she's a bit slow to open up, as she's had troubles of her own and has spent a good deal of time with only an owlet as a friend, but she's quite caring once you get to know her. or if you're law, she's secretly caring and mostly teasing. shh.

Rinwell! I'm still getting through Arise myself (I've defeated two Lords, wandering around after that in not yet having faced the third of the five.) but so far she is def my fave too! I'm totally down for having more Tales peeps! I def think it would be something for her to adjust to Everyone having magic here and all, that could be interesting to explore given her upbringing around all that.

but yes! i'm really interested in how she'd deal with the whole magic situation here. it'd be really fun and neat to explore...

I have adored Tales ever since a friend introduced me to Symphonia and have played most of the entries since that I have access to (Abyss I watched the OVA for before finding out our region was getting it on 3DS so spoiled myself. And I haven't finished Xillia or played that sequel yet, but. Most all the other more recent ones I've gotten to!)

Rinwell does seem like she would be an interesting one to explore, heck all the cast, in taking them out of that setting and seeing how they react and all, given their situations. But also. Yes. Colette and the way she bff everyone would absolutely make friends with Rinwell. (I figure if she can bff the clumsy ninja assassin sent to kill her. She can p much bff almost anyone cross canon too.) Also please tell me she is bringing Hootle, he's so cute, teeny owl friend!

I just. Got serious Symphonia vibes almost from the start with Arise given the whole 'embedded' thing and such, ala the Exspheres and Ranches. So there's potential for interesting cr from that with comparisons of sorts. I know I'm still progressing in getting through the game with spoilers and all, but! This could be interesting. And cute cr.

aaah i love the series too!! my first was abyss and i moved on from there... the only ones i need to finish at this point are phantasia and eternia since i've only gotten halfway through those aha.

yeah i'd love to see the cast in general in games! i hope some of them decide to come here with me... it would be wonderful to have a cast here ;a; (and she'll need her familiar faces for any magic-related venting). and yeah oh my god... colette would be such a good, soft friend for rinwell to have. she doesn't have any younger female friends really so it'd be good for her. the ones she has take on more big sister/mom roles. and yes absolutely hootle is coming (if i read the rules right and he can, of course). he's like the pikachu to her ash.

also YEAH arise has a few different vibes from tales games but i won't mention which other ones due to spoilers but symphonia is definitely a vibe me and other friends of mine got from it. let's DO DIS cr

Yeah I have Phantasia and Eternia but haven't finished either of those either, you aren't alone in that. I didn't finish Xillia either in getting distracted with Zestiria coming out iirc.

But yes! The cast that I've met so far seem really fun and it's an interesting dynamic going with them all. It's kinda interesting in how they're going darker too like. Berseria they go off after Artorius for Velvet to get Revenge and now Arise. I just find that interesting given the prior games, these are more look saving the world just happens it was not their goal or anything guys really.....? But yes give them more cute girl friends around their age! Colette's the same way.

Glad to know I was not alone in the Symphonia vibes lol.

aaaah. i like the xillia games so it's totally worth it to go back and finish them imo!! i like pretty much all tales games though so that's a given...

oh yeah i LOVE the cast in arise. it's ended up being one of my favorite casts in the series. but i also agree i'm interested in the darker angle the games have been taking. they still have their silliness a lot of the time but it's been fun to see how things are progressing in the series.

Yeah I have Xillia on PS3 but not the sequel. I got up to iirc like Elise was kidnapped or something. But I've been the same way in adoring the ones I have played for Tales of, so I'm so glad and excited for the franchise that Arise is doing so well with sales!

I loved that immediately upon seeing Law on my desktop fiancé just like ah yes there's the Zell type. Because like. Yeah. Accurate. He's got that same sillier sort of personality in trying to keep the game lighter against those darker themes/implications.
