Character Name: Rei Amayado
Canon: Hypnosis Microphone
Info: Rei is a bioengineer whose master invention brought an end to weaponized warfare back home. Currently he's pretending to be a slimy conman in order to hide that fact, as well as pave the way for his next plans. Unfortunately for all of us, his conman act is very convincing....
When he's not busy trying to sign people up for pyramid schemes Rei is a nosy, blunt and overly-familiar old man who gives surprisingly good advice. He loves music, good food, and barhopping!
Also he's an extremely unfortunate dad and extremely unfortunately for him his eldest son just showed up in camelot. Heh Heh Heh
Magics & Familiar: Dark, Technomancy & Hou-ou named Princess
Desired CR: Anything! If you need a shady information broker to hook your character up with [insert shady plot device here], he’s ready to serve lol. (He has established himself as providing untethered dark web access to people banned from it via knighthood, etc. Lol) Otherwise he also pals around and will gladly one-sidedly befriend you ww
Known Plans: DECEMBER POST!!! I wrote a buncha prompts but if there's something else you'd like then hmu :)

I saw that Rei's trying to intercept the enchanted jars (with or without ghosts)... bless you, sketchy man! I'm so interested in all of Rei's prompts, but also trying to figure out the logistics.

They could do one of the maidens' tasks (still blissfully unaware of the dark web shenanigans because wow, it's a whole new area!), or they could have a public fight over the last tiger's eye (but Hijikata would only go for that quest once he's gotten his ghosts back... at least for the time being, because more could still be captured later!), or Rei could instead pop into the network post Hijikata will make later on to the tune of "How do you find trapped ghosts?!" (chronologically before they'd head back to Camelot).

Or maybe more than one of those? Decision-making is my passion...

WAHAHAHA i'm delighted to hear it!!!! God I can't decide on a thread tho. All of these choices are too funny. I'm genuinely torn omg. AAUUGHH... Maybe we should start with a maiden task, and then depending on how overloaded you get with other players in Ghost Posting(tm) we can have a Ghost Thread???

and btw i DO finally have a starter prepared for the riou's-camp-phone-fixing we discussed last month, but i think given this month's locations and phone breaking timeline it probably makes sense to push it to another month (or backdate it??????) IF you're still interested whenever that comes around. God LOL i'm so sorry about my slow ass. Hijikata is stuck with Rei forever now

No worries, this timing turned out to be just perfect in the end!! Rei can fix Hijikata's phone later on... actually if I hit up Rei's Tiger's Eye prompt they could technically handle that there (even just on the side by Hijikata leaving it with Rei for repairs and handwaving the later return), but if you prefer the maiden prompts I'll go for one of those!!

Meanwhile I finally got my posts up too, in case you want to toss Rei in there anywhere (and I'm 100% up for him having been the "little bird" if you want, haha).

HMmMm you're right, the tiger's eye one would most naturally flow to dark web talk (with a side of raunchy jokes). Sounds perfect to me!!

Character Name: Rinea
Canon:Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia
Info: A reserved, kind-hearted noblewoman from a snowy military country. Was about to reluctantly accept the Empress mantle by marrying her crown prince bf, but things went extremely off the rails and Avalon is now all she has left. She's making the most of it!
Magics & Familiar: Alchemy & Kinetic; much more practiced with the former than the latter. Familiar is a big hulking monster named Adalhard.
Desired CR: Anything! Come at me/her. Rinea defaults to friendship but by all means bullying her is also fine. She's gotten involved with some dubious things, like making a potion that bans ghosts, so that might eventually spiral out into trouble.
She also has a gentle-scolding streak in her, if you need someone to tell your character that she's disappointed that you didn't wear closed-toe shoes in the lab or whatever. SDFJSDKSD
Also open to shipping but it would be severely slow-burn ww

Known Plans: Rinea's roommate just lost her paramour so Rinea will probably be spending time making sure she's OK this month! Other than that, I'm cuuurious about the island of dreams TDM prompt. I think Rinea wouldn't be able to help imagining her fiancé into existence, though it might be a version of Berkut from earlier on in their relationship before Game Plot fuckups happened. I think that would be very melancholy and could get her talking about stuff... so if that sounds interesting let me know and i can like. actually write it. LMAO

She may also make an appearance at Louis's formal ball, because Dancing is almost literally her lifeblood!!!
