1. SOAKING IN YOUR ARRIVAL [Getting tossed into water, even gulping a mouthful of the stuff and emerging, coughing, from the depths, is a surprisingly exhilarating sensation. Iskandar surfaces and swims to shore, still spluttering, when he's greeted by a woman, who gives him an opportunity to clear his lungs before she offers him an Everwarm potion.
He gulps it down -- it would be rude to reject the hospitality of an unfamiliar land, after all -- and when she introduces herself as the Lady of the Lake before moving on, he blinks. He can only look out across the water, and burst into laughter in stunned disbelief.]
It seems this is not Okeanos... but nor is it the end of my legend. Is it the same for the King of Knights, I wonder?
[The Lady seemed as good a hint as any, but there's only one way to find out, and so he forges ahead to ascend the cliffs.]
2. THE CARAVAN TO CAMELOT [Near the front of the caravan is a mountain of a man, swathed in a billowing red cape with fur trim that wards off the worst of the winter chill... even if the Macedonian bronze armour he wears is anything but suitable for the cold. He hasn't climbed into the carriage yet, as he's having a very loud and animated discussion with the carriage driver.]
No, no, allow me to drive the carriage to our destination! You cannot possibly expect me, a Rider class Serv-- former Servant -- to squeeze into that tiny compartment while someone else does the driving?! No! I will lead from the front, and when we arrive, myself and your leader Archimedes shall enjoy a hearty banquet in thanks for his assistance! You will join us!
[He's slapping the driver on the shoulder and laughing, and the poor driver in turn just looks bewildered at the attempted hijacking. Maybe someone should talk him down before Iskandar just... takes the carriage and rides off with it.]
3. SNOW MORE COLD [The so-called "igloo glamping" trip is something of an object of fascination for Iskandar, who has never travelled far enough north to see snow in its extremes, least of all enough to construct a building out of it, magically or otherwise. Still, he enjoys sampling foreign customs, and so he's made himself at home quickly enough, with a collection of wines to indulge in while he lounges and flicks through channels on the TV.
When someone else enters, presumably hoping to find a room to share, he sits up cross-legged to great them.]
Greetings! Are you here to join me in glamorous camping?! None in my army have ever luxuriated in a camp so fine as this.
[Then again, Alexander the Great's campaign eastwards would have been decidedly slower if they'd stopped at glamping spots the entire way there, but, you know. Details. He pats the pile of furs next to him in invitation. ]
Come, come!
